One recent news piece provided a glimpse into this potentially treacherous trend. Modern copier and all-in-one print/fax/scan/copy devices have the relatively high capacity storage devices (HDDs) installed. Many people access these systems for business and personal reasons. Is that data sensitive and should it be protected in some manner? You bet, and given the litigious nature of this country in the 21st century, the astute corporate practitioner should take note.
